Perfect for a lads' night
Had a big room with three decent beds, clean sheets, and a tray of teas that was like a nice touch. The staff were really friendly and it reminded me of they genuinely cared about us, especially when they let us stash our luggage for the day while we explored.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but still not too hard to swallow given the circumstances.

Liked our a decent size and newly furnished rooms in this hotel.
The place was clean with an incredibly friendly staff especially the receptionist he is incredible at his job. We ate in the excellent restaurant for lunch and dinner too which was reasonably priced. The room had a nice sized bathroom and netflix, a kettle and an iron.

There was ample parking, which was convenient for Old Trafford Cricket ground. The hotel is also conveniently positioned for Manchester United Football ground and Salford Quays.
Accomodation must be paid for prior to even viewing your room. Breakfasts (although tasty) must also be paid for in advance of eating. Whereas I accept that this hotel caters mainly for football and cricket supporters, there is no reason why they should not expect cleanliness in their room. Although my bed was clean, as was the toilet, there was a very mouldy shower curtain and dirty non slip mat in the bath. The surfaces in the room were sticky. I was given a refund of £25 without question, which suggests that my complaint was not a shock to the management team. Given these things cost little to replace when dirty I am surprised that the problem was there.

Original, fairly clean place with outstandingly accommodating and extremely polite staff from the receptionist to the duty manager. Incredible and fab location - minutes from Bethesda Apostolic Church. Thoroughly enjoyed nice quiet area.

Really good room and attentive service
The staff were not just polite, but genuinely caring was great. I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast options that provided a great start to my day. The noise from outside occasionally disrupted the peaceful atmosphere I was hoping for.

When we fist pulled in the car park I must be honest and say that I thought I had dropped a clanger as the exterior and car park looked terrible . The hotel building was old and dated and the car park was surrounded with storage containers and rubbish . However , once inside it was a different story . The staff were very friendly and helpful , the interior was very plush and the room was very spacious , clean and comfortable . Worth every penny
The exterior needs to be looked at . It gain the wrong impression

I booked this hotel on the basis that it was just outside the city centre and had parking facilities. When I arrived I found that it was on a main road with a deserted tyre garage next door and the metro line running behind it. On entering reception I was met by a very friendly, helpful lady which helped improve my opion, however that soon disappeared when I went into the room I had booked. The main area of concern was the en-suite which had bare wires exposed from the heated towel rail, the cracked window and not to mention the mulitude of stains. There was even an old stained bath mat to use when having a shower. There were tiles missing on the skirting all of this instantly making me regret making this booking.

Great stay with friendly vibes!
The staff was super friendly and really helped us out. The room was decent, a nice surprise actually. Tried the Indian restaurant downstairs and wow, really tasty food! Just a heads-up, the breakfast area could've been cleaner, left a bit to be desired. It was good value for the price!

Nearness to cricket ground (my son & I were there to attend One Day International on 9th July 2011) Breakfast was very good. Staff were very pleasant.
Bar - the lack of decent beer. Bathroom needed refurbishing
